(later: VERLAB) has decided to implement the system of quality assurance in regard to requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard in order to assure the quality of services it provides within the registered scope of activities. Management of VERLAB has recognized the significance of assuring impartiality, confidentiality and objectivity in providing services within the framework of registered activities for clients and therefore it is continuously being taken care that all activities are performed in order to protect impartiality and objectivity of provided services, as well as the confidentiality of data resulted from such.
VERLAB’s management does not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise the impartiality, objectivity and confidentiality of activities carried out within VERLAB and takes action to ensure that all employees act impartially and independently in carrying out all activities based on professional rules and objective indicators, in accordance with regulations.
In order to prevent conflicts of interest in the process of providing services, persons who are in no way connected with the interested party are engaged, if there is no other possibility, that person is additionally checked so that there is no exposure to any kind of pressure that could affect impartiality.
All data, information and knowledge obtained during the course of business and its business relationship with interested parties are treated in VERLAB as a business and professional secret.
VERLAB’s staff is informed through the quality management system about the importance of impartiality, objectivity and confidentiality of data and conflicts of interest and they have obliged to adhere to measures to prevent these phenomena. They are also obliged to keep information on business secrets in accordance with the applicable Rules of Procedure and the Code of Ethics.
