EuroCC 2
EuroCC 2 is an initiative aimed at continuing the establishment of a network of National Competence Centres (NCCs) in Europe, taking into account the different levels of maturity in the application of High Performance Computing (HPC) among European countries. The mission of the EuroCC 2 project is to support the national centres in the development of their operational frameworks, enabling them to access the best available expertise and resources at national and European level. Throughout EuroCC 2, special attention is paid to improving cooperation, sharing best practices and knowledge, thereby accelerating the development of HPC capacities at national and European level. The project works closely with the coordination and support action CASTIEL 2, which is tailored to the needs of the NCC and includes Centres of Excellence (CoE). The aim is to strengthen national competence centres and enable more effective application of HPC technologies in industry, academia and the public sector.
EuroCC4SEE
EuroCC4SEE is an extension of the EuroCC 2 initiative focusing on countries associated with the EuroCC network, including Bosnia and Herzegovina and other potential candidates for joining the network. The project aims to strengthen National Competence Centres in these countries through access to European resources, exchange of experiences and improvement of operational capacities for the implementation of HPC technologies. EuroCC4SEE supports new and connected national centres in creating individual operational models, enabling them to benefit from expertise available at European and national level. The project works closely with EuroCC 2 and CASTIEL 2 to strengthen regional and European cooperation in the field of HPC, accelerate the digital transformation and ensure the long-term sustainability of these centres.
